I, was working in the boat industry and identified the need for an good looking and affordable Ski Boat, easy to build & not to complicated. I located a mould and started reproducing the hulls that were originally the first locally made kit ski boats in Echuca back in the 80's

Many configurations were built over the years as well as Race Records in the S80.
The hull is a Jack Eddie bottom and a modified Elliminator deck.

There is a big difference in build quality now than there was back in the 80's. For starters, the timber stip down the center of the hull has gone, allowing more height, the timber in the transom no longer goes to the bottom, it stops at floor height and is reinforced for additional strenghth. This also allows the exhaust outlets and bildge an all fibreglass area which eliminates rotting timber. The pinch well is now fully enclosed which offers more strength also another boyancy area. Traditional methods of joining the deck still hold true by hand laying F/glass across the inside of the top deck and hull.
The hull is still built by Echuca Marine using the same quality methods and materials they not only use for there own boats but the Stephens range, XFI and others.
